Bun J Ride is a LLC with a capital of 25 000 € and it is registered with the Register of Commerce and Companies in Annecy under number 509 466 447. Its head office is located in 510 route de Thônes 74450 Saint Jean de Sixt. Bun J Ride provides all the jumps presented on its website. By buying a voucher, making an online reservation our by using a gift voucher sold by Bun J Ride or by a third party provider, you are deemed to be aware of these terms and conditions. Please do not make any purchases or reservations unless you have read and agreed to all of the terms and conditions herein.
Price
The prices on this website are regularly updated. The prices for jumps can vary over time. In the event of an order being placed with an incorrect price due to our error, we will inform the buyer within seven days following the purchase and allow the buyer to either cancel the booking or to pay the additional price. Vouchers and purchases from external voucher providers may vary and Bun J Ride shall not be held responsible for purchases made from such providers, nor for the prices that they charge.Weather conditions
All of our services are weather dependent. Please be aware that the weather can be unpredictable and events may need to be cancelled because of this; when we believe weather conditions to be too dangerous: strong winds, storms and fog are the main causes for cancellation (moderate rain and snow fall are not an issue). Cancelling an event can be a big inconvenience for both participants and us here at Bun J Ride. However, the safety of our jumpers and crew is paramount and we can never fail to take it into account. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. If we are forced to cancel a reservation due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled by Bun J Ride at no extra charge for a later date. No refunds will be given when Bun j Ride is forced to cancel scheduled jumps. There can be no guarantee that a jump scheduled for a particular date will not be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Although weather conditions may change rapidly, forcing us to cancel jumps at any given time, we recommend that you contact us before you set out for our venue. Non attendance at the scheduled time, on a day when the venue operates, and when weather conditions (rain, snow) do not endanger the safety of the jumper or that of the crew will result in missing the experience and no refunds will be granted. In the event of cancellation, Bun J Ride will not be held liable for the cost of auxiliary expenses that you may have paid for (accommodation, transportation etc.)Availability
All our services are offered subject to the availability of dates and our crew. Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible, especially during peak periods. If you plan to book a jump or to purchase a voucher on short notice, you should call us to make sure there is still availability before completing the transaction. You should not make any travel or accommodation-related arrangements until you have received your final booking confirmation that specifies a date and time from Bun J Ride.Duration and Time of Jump
The specified time for your jump is merely indicative. There is no guarantee that you will complete your jump at the exact time specified in your booking confirmation, although we do our best to keep as closely as possible to the allotted timeslots. Please be on site with plenty of time to spare. The specified duration of the jumps is an indicative one and may vary according to weather conditions, the chosen type of jump and other factors. When booking for a group, please bear in mind that there may be some extra waiting time involved.Descriptions & Images
All descriptions contained on our website and in our marketing materials are correct at the time of their publishing. Descriptions may be updated over time given the innovations that we regularly make to our offers. The images used are the property of Bun J Ride and are used in promotional materials to illustrate the jumps. Bun J Ride shall not be responsible for the descriptions and images presented by external providers, particularly - by experience - gift box providers.Safety
We ask the holders of the reservations to be on site fifteen minutes before the designated time. All of the jumps that we offer require registration, a full safety briefing and a certain amount of preparation. It is essential that the participant attends registration, otherwise they will not be able to participate. No alcohol or drugs can be consumed before making any Bun J Ride jump. Our staff reserves the right to refuse site access to persons suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. All jumpers will be weighed and fitted with a safety harness. There are no exceptions to these rules. Other safety precautions will be specified in your Bun J Pack material, that you can download on our website and to which we send a link in each booking confirmation. Each member of the Bun J Ride crew has the right to deny a client a jump or to restrict the run-up means if he believes that the participant is endangering the public or themselves.Refunds and Cancellations
Bun J Ride will refund booked experiences and vouchers bought directly from Bun J Ride within 7 days of payment. After 7 days, no refunds will be granted. Where gift vouchers have been bought from gift box external partners, no refunds will be granted and should you choose to cancel your reservation, the voucher will no longer be valid. If you need to change the day or the time of your jump, you can do so free of charge at least 7 days before the date of the actual jump. For participants that do not show up on the day and at the time of the event will not be able to reschedule for a further date and their tickets will no longer be valid. Occasionally, Bun J Ride is forced to cancel jumps due to weather conditions, the minimum number of participants or a material problem that affect/affects the security of the site. Though we regret these cancellations, we are unable to reimburse you for auxiliary costs such as accommodation or transportation. The cancelled jumps are rescheduled at a later date, but no refunds will ever be granted.Booking Confirmations
Bun J Ride booking confirmations are delivered by e-mail to the email address which is validated for every order. Be aware that some e-mail accounts may categorize our e-mail confirmations as “spam/junk mail”. Each Bun J Ride voucher will be valid for one year from its issuing and includes a unique code, which must be quoted when making your reservation. This code is vital in order to identify yourself and to check the validity of your gift voucher. Gift vouchers will always be presented to Bun J Ride on the day of your jump. Please check your expiry date and book and perform your jump prior to the expiry date on your voucher. The expiry date will always be clearly stated on gift vouchers that are sold directly by Bun J Ride. We reserve the right to refuse participants who cannot present a valid gift voucher. Failure to produce a valid gift voucher on the day of your jump means that full payment will be required to cover the cost of the jump. This payment can be refunded on receipt of a valid voucher within 28 days following your jump date. Bun J Ride will not be liable for any loss of your gift vouchers. In certain cases, if we receive a request at least 30 days prior to your voucher's expiration date, we can prolong the validity of gift vouchers that were sold directly by Bun J Ride.Voucher Bookings
All gift vouchers must be booked in online at www.bun-j-ride.com. Please do not arrive on site expecting to redeem your gift voucher without first booking your jump. Bun J Ride will not be held accountable if you do not follow the procedure provided in these general sales terms. The reservation is not valid until you receive a written booking confirmation from Bun J Ride.Insurance
The very nature of some of the activities that we promote (extreme and thrilling) means that although they are completely secured, they are still dangerous. Before registering for a jump with Bun J Ride, you should be aware of these risks. This is why we provide you with the Bun J Pack, which is freely available on our website and that you are always invited to download in your booking confirmation. We hold a valid public liability insurance with AXA Assurances. A copy of our insurance certificate is always available in our venues, so all you have to do is to ask a crew member for one.Late Arrivals
We strongly advise you to treat leaving for your bungee jump as you would treat catching a flight or a train. This is because every participant has a scheduled jump time. If you are late, we will try to find a slot for you but this will be subject to our availabilities on that given day.Personal Belongings
The participants are responsible for making sure that they are in possession of all of their personal belongings following their jump. Bun J Ride is under no obligation to compensate or to offer replacements for items that were lost during our activities.Spectators
In our venues, spectators can witness the jumps free of charge. The spectators also have to accept these general sales terms and to behave adequately. Any spectator found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied entry to the site.Restrictions
Our jumps are subject to certain age, health and other restrictions. Details are available on our website, in the Bun J Pack and hereunder. The buyer is in charge of making sure that all the conditions are met in order to perform the jump. Upon validation of your reservation, you will no longer receive a refund if you are forced to cancel due to failure to comply with these minimum restrictions. The details of these restrictions are listed below. Please read them carefully. HEALTH WARNING NOTICE – IF IN DOUBT – DO NOT ATTEMPT THE JUMP. If you have any of the following conditions, you must obtain a medical certificate before performing the jump:- High blood pressure
- Heart condition
- Are experiencing dizziness or suffer from epilepsy
- Neck, back, spinal cord, leg or eye problems
- Asthma
- Pregnancy
- Alcohol intoxication – il you are drunk, you will not be permitted to jump
- Medication - please inform us if you are taking any form of medication
Other conditions
- - Prohibited for minors under 14 years of age
- Subject to parental consent for ages 14 to 17
- People over 55 years old must provide a medical certificate
- Glasses and hard contact lenses cannot be worn during the jump
- Weight limits for a solo jumper – minimum 40 kg – maximum 120 kg
- Weight limits for tandem – minimum 90 kg – maximum 180 kg
- Waist size must be between 60 and 100 cm.
